A Greek Salad Dressing using lemon for the acidic and a touch of anchovy. Ingredients:
2 tablespoons lemon juice |
3 tablespoon water |
1 minced garlic cloves |
1 teaspoon dried thyme leaves |
1 teaspoon dried greek oregano leaves |
1 teaspoon anchovy paste or mashed anchovies |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon black cracked pepper |
3/4 cup extra virgin olive oil |
Directions:
1. Put lemon juice into a shaker bottle. Add water and the other ingredients, except the olive oil. Stir well to blend the dry ingredients into the wet. Add olive oil and shake thoroughly. 2. Shake prior to each use. 3. Keep in refigerator |
