This is a different, spicy pasta salad that is always great at a party or bbq. Ingredients:
1/4 cup olive oil |
1/4 cup red wine vinegar |
3/4 teaspoons garlic powder |
3/4 teaspoons basil |
3/4 teaspoons oregano |
1/2 teaspoon pepper |
1/2 teaspoon sugar -- or more |
100g pasta -- cooked |
1 1/2 cups mushrooms -- thickly sliced |
8 cherry tomatoes -- cut in half |
1/2 cup red capsicum -- cut into strips |
1/2 cup feta cheese -- crumbled |
1/4 cup green onion -- chopped |
50g black olives -- whole |
1/2 cup pepperoni slices -- cut into strips |
Directions:
1. Mix together oil, vinegar, garlic powder, basil, oregano, pepper and sugar. 2. Add remaining ingredients and toss until all ingredients are well coated. 3. Cover and chill 2 hours or overnight. 4. Makes 5 cups. |
