For the 'zaar World Tour 2005 Ingredients:
2 lbs medium mushrooms |
1 cup water |
1 cup red wine vinegar |
1 cup olive oil |
2 bay leaves |
1/4 teaspoon crushed thyme |
1/2 teaspoon onion powder |
2 garlic cloves |
2 teaspoons salt |
12 peppercorns |
Directions:
1. Clean and trim mushrooms. 2. Bring all ingredients (except mushrooms) to a boil and simmer 5 minutes. 3. Add mushrooms and simmer 10 minutes. 4. Cool. May be served at room temperature or reheated. 5. Best if made a day ahead. |
