A 4 cheese macaroni and cheese recipe; Zaar 6. Ingredients:
1 lb elbow macaroni, uncooked |
2 cups spinach |
2 cups evaporated milk |
1/4 cup feta cheese |
1 teaspoon nutmeg, fresh grated |
3 tablespoons butter |
2 garlic cloves, crushed |
2 green onions, minced |
2 tablespoons flour |
1 cup gruyere, shredded |
1/4 cup parmesan cheese, shredded |
1/4 cup romano cheese, shredded |
Directions:
1. Cook pasta just underdone; drain. 2. Mix in spinach. 3. In a blender add milk, feta cheese, and nutmeg; blend. 4. In skillet add butter, garlic, and green onion; saute. 5. Add flour; brown; add blender mixture; add cheeses; melt. 6. Pour over noodles; toss. 7. Put in a greased casserole. 8. Bake, covered, in a 350 degree Fahrenheit oven for 1 hour. 9. Uncover last 15 minutes; bake until done. |
