Feta cheese, oregano, garlic and a hint of lemon add to the pleasant flavor of these lamb patties. Ingredients:
1 large egg, beaten |
1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese |
1/3 cup dry breadcrumbs |
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano |
1 garlic clove, minced |
1 teaspoon grated lemon zest |
1/4 teaspoon black pepper |
1 lb ground lamb |
1 tablespoon oil |
Directions:
1. Combine first 7 ingredients in large bowl. 2. Add ground lamb and mix well. 3. Divide into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into 1/2 inch thick patty. 4. Heat skillet on medium heat and add 1 tablespoon of oil. 5. Add patties and cook for 3 to 4 minutes per side until no longer pink inside. |
