This recipe is one that I have adopted. The review from SusieD stated the wine was a bit over powering so I substituted beef broth. This worked out nicely also. Ingredients:
2 lbs ground beef round |
1/2 cup onion, diced |
2 slices bread, crumbled |
2 small tomatoes, chopped or 1 cup canned tomato |
1 teaspoon cumin, ground |
1 teaspoon oregano |
2 eggs |
1/2 cup wine, or beef broth |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon pepper |
Directions:
1. Mix well in bowl. 2. Roll patties in flour and fry. |
