I adopted this recipe from Recipezaar. I hope to give it a try soon and make changes if needed. Ingredients:
2 teaspoons vegetable oil |
4 chicken legs, quartered |
1 (12 ounce) jar chicken gravy |
1/4 cup dry white wine |
2 teaspoons lemon juice |
1 (2 1/4 ounce) can sliced black olives, drained |
1 teaspoon dried oregano |
1 (4 ounce) package crumbled feta cheese |
Directions:
1. In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. 2. Add chickenand cook 4-5 minutes on each side, or until browned; drain. 3. Reduce heat to medium-low; cover and cook 25-30 minutes , or until chicken is no longer pink inside. 4. Meanwhile, in a smallbowl, combine gravy, wine, lemon juice, olives, and oregano; mix well. 5. Pour over chicken; reduce heat to low and simmer 3-5 moreminutes, or until the sauce is heated through. 6. Top chicken withfeta cheese and serve. |
