Greek Baby Potato Kabobs

These potatoes marinate for 2 hours so plan ahead..They are delicious
Ingredients:
3 lbs baby red potatoes(unpeeled,washed scrubbed and dryed)(i par-boiled for 12 mins)
1/3 c olive oil
2 tb fresh lemon juice
1 tsp garlic powder
2-3 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp dried thyme
1/4 tsp kosher salt(more to season after cooking,if desired)
melted butter
fresh ground black pepper(to taste)
Directions:
1. 1 Slice each potato in half and poke a few holes in skin side
2. 2 Place in heavy resealable plastic bag
3. 3 In bowl ,whisk olive oil,lemon juice,garlic,oregano,thyme and kosher salt,pour over potatoes.
4. 4 Seal bag,turn to coat. Place in refrigerator for 2 hours
5. 5 Soak bamboo skewers in cold water 30 mins.(I used metal skewers)
6. 6 Remove potatoes from bag and discard marinade.
7. 7 Skewer each potato with flat side facing down
8. 8 Preheat grill to med.and oil the grates
9. 9. Place potatoes flat side down on grill
10. 10 Do not close top and keep eye out for flare-ups
11. 11 Cook for 20-22 mins or till golden brown(I cooked for 10-12 mins because I par-boiled potatoes)
12. 12After cooking,brush wit melted butter(not necessary and season with more salt and pepper.
13. I did turn potatoes halfway through
