Greatgrandmother's Salad Dressing

This is a recipe that has always been part of family gatherings and it has never had any other name that I know of. We usually serve this with a simple salad of leaf lettuce, avocado, mandarin orange, and sweet onion. Posting it mostly so that I don't lose it.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1 teaspoon celery salt
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon onion juice (use the finest side of a box grater to create)
1/4 cup vinegar
1 cup vegetable oil
2 tablespoons maple syrup (optional, but if you decide to use it, use the real stuff)
Directions:
1. In a blender, mix all dry ingredients.
2. Mix in onion juice.
3. With blender on low speed, add oil and vinegar. Alternate between the two ingredients and add small amounts at a time.
4. Add maple syrup.
