This recipe came from TW's Anything For A buck Catering. I found it on a news site. Ingredients:
1 cup butter |
1/2 cup baking cocoa powder |
4 unbeaten eggs |
2 cups sugar |
1 cup flour |
2 teaspoons vanilla |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
2 cups chopped nuts (optional) |
Directions:
1. Melt the butter, and add cocoa powder and eggs. 2. Mix well. 3. Add sugar, flour, vanilla and salt. 4. Mix well. 5. Add chopped nuts if desired. 6. Bake in a buttered 9X12 pan at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes, or until toothpick comes out gooey but not wet. 7. Cool and cut into 1 squares, then dredge in or sprinkle with powdered sugar, or serve plain. 8. Keep in airtight container. |
