My mom created this simple chicken dish constantly when we were growing up. It is simple and absolutely delicious! Ingredients:
4 -6 chicken breasts |
2 (10 1/2 ounce) cans cream of mushroom soup |
16 ounces sour cream |
6 ounces dried beef |
10 slices provolone cheese |
toothpick |
Directions:
1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. 2. Take out a chicken breast and place a slice of provolone and a large piece of dried beef on top of it. 3. Roll the chicken breast up and place 2 toothpicks in it to hold it together. 4. Continue until all breasts are rolled. 5. Place chicken in 13 x 9 baking dish. 6. Mix the sour cream and cream of mushroom soup together in a bowl and then spoon over chicken. 7. Quarter remaining provolone and place on top of sour cream mixture. 8. Cover chicken with foil and cook for 30 minutes. Uncover chicken and cook for another 30 minutes. 9. Serve over rice. |
