These are the best I've come across. Love them for breakfast! Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups flour |
1 cup chopped walnuts |
1/2 cup toasted wheat germ |
1/2 cup brown sugar |
1 tablespoon baking powder |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg |
2 very ripe bananas, mashed |
3/4 cup milk |
5 tablespoons melted butter |
1 egg |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 400ยบ; place liners in 12 muffin cups. 2. Coat liners with cooking spray. 3. Mix dry ingredients in large bowl. 4. Stir in bananas, milk, butter and egg. 5. Mix just until blended. 6. Fill muffin liners 3/4 full. 7. Bake for 20 minutes or until muffins test done. |
