The great thing about this recipe is that it HAS to be made the night before...therefore saving you time the next morning! It is also very easy to prepare :) It lends its self to doubling very easily as well. Enjoy! Ingredients:
8 slices white bread |
2 1/2 cups milk |
4 eggs |
1/2 lb cheddar cheese |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard |
1 dash pepper |
Directions:
1. De-crust and cube bread. 2. Place cubes in to a 7 1/2 X 11 3/4 baking dish. 3. Combine mild, eggs, cheese and seasoning in blender or food processor. 4. Blend until cheese is grated. 5. Pour over bread cubes making sure that all cubes are moistened and let stand in the refrigerator overnight. 6. Then next morning, bake at 325 for 1 hour. |
