Modification of the classic off the Miracle Whip jar. KRAFT Original Miracle Whip, yellow mustard, celery salt, pepper, potatoes, hard-cooked eggs, onions, celery, sweet pickle relish cvt Original recipe called for 1/2 tsp salt (1150 mg/tsp) and 1/2 tsp celery seed (1.5 mg sodium/tsp) Celery salt is 1100 mg/tsp and is therefore about 50% table salt. Ingredients:
1 cup kraft original miracle whip |
1 tsp prepared mustard |
1 tsp celery salt (91317), or 1/2 tsp each celery seed and salt |
1/8 tsp pepper |
2 eggs, hard-cooked, mashed |
4 cups potatoes, cooked, cubed |
1/2 cup chopped onions |
1/2 cup sliced celery |
1/4 cup sweet pickle relish, drained |
Directions:
1. MIX Miracle Whip, mustard, celery salt, pepper and mashed eggs in large bowl. 2. ADD remaining ingredients; mix lightly. Cover. 3. REFRIGERATE several hours or until chilled. |
