This is my rendition of Green Beans. Always gets rave reviews! Ingredients:
1 tablespoon olive oil |
2 slices turkey bacon, chopped or 2 slices regular bacon |
1 medium onion, chopped |
1 lb green beans |
2 garlic cloves, minced |
14 ounces chicken broth |
salt (to taste) |
pepper (to taste) |
Directions:
1. Saute' turkey bacon and onion in olive in a skillet on medium-high heat until the onion is translucent. 2. Add remainder of ingredients. 3. Cook green beans until desired consistency (my husband likes them really soft). 4. Enjoy! |
