Gravy Train Potato Topper |

This is a CHEAP way to top off mashed potatoes or baked potatoes and make it a meal. Add a vegie and you are DONE Ingredients:
1 lb ground meat (i prefer chuck) |
2 tablespoons chopped onions |
1 1/2 cups water |
2 tablespoons cornstarch |
2 bouillon cubes |
salt and pepper |
Directions:
1. brown meat and drain very well. 2. add onion and saute until tender. 3. add 1 c of the water and bouillon to pan and simmer with beef and onion over low heat. 4. in a small bowl mix 1/2 c water and cornstarch pour into beef to thicken. 5. season to taste. 6. top your potato and enjoy. |
