One from G-Ma Roberts files. She was such a fun cook and her recipes are stuffed with favorites with her friends names on them and little notes that it came from the bridge party or the fishing tournament etc. A real food diary. Ingredients:
18 crushed chocolate cookies with white filling |
1/2 cup of melted butter |
1/2 cup of milk |
24 large marshmallows |
1/2 pint of heavy cream, whipped |
3 tablespoons of green creme de menthe |
3 tablespoons of white creme de cocoa |
Directions:
1. Add melted butter to crushed cookies. 2. Press inot 9 inch pie pan. 3. Melt marshmallows in the milk over low heat, stirring constantly 4. Cool to room temperature. 5. Add the Creme de Menthe and Creme de Cocoa to the whipped cream. 6. Fold cream into the marshmallow mixture. 7. Pour into pie shell, 8. Chill or Freeze. |
