Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups grapefruit juice |
1/4 cup sugar |
2 inches cinnamon sticks |
ice cube |
2 (12 ounce) cans diet ginger ale, chilled |
Directions:
1. For syrup, in a saucepan combine grapefruit juice, sugar, and cinnamon. 2. Bring to boiling; reduce heat. 3. Simmer, uncovered, for 5 minutes. 4. Discard cinnamon; cool syrup. 5. Cover and chill syrup. 6. Fill four 8-ounce glasses with ice. 7. Add about 1/3 cup grapefruit syrup to each glass. 8. Fill glasses with ginger ale. 9. Stir gently. 10. If desired, garnish with grapefruit peel curls, edible flowers, and fresh mint springs. |
