A coupe is any type of ice cream, frozen yogurt, or sherbet topped with fruit. Serving a grapefruit mixture over orange sherbet is a nice alternative to traditional ambrosia. Ingredients:
1 cup orange sherbet or sorbet |
1 (26-ounce) jar pink grapefruit sections, drained |
1 cup seedless red grape halves |
4 teaspoons honey |
4 teaspoons flaked coconut |
Directions:
1. Divide sherbet among 4 coupe dishes or other individual stemmed dessert dishes. Toss grapefruit and grapes in a bowl. Top each sherbet serving evenly with fruit. Drizzle each with 1 teaspoon honey, and sprinkle with 1 teaspoon coconut. |
