A tasty dessert for a high tea Ingredients:
5 lbs grapefruits |
1 cup sweetened flaked coconut |
2 tablespoons campari |
2 tablespoons sugar |
salt |
Directions:
1. Cut peel from each fruit with a sharp paring knife (including all white pith). 2. Cut each segment from each fruit free from membranes. 3. Halve grapefruit segments crosswise and transfer pieces to a bowl. 4. Stir in coconut, Campari, sugar, and just a pinch of salt. 5. Refrigerate, covered, at least 15 minutes or up to 4 hours. |
