Another very old recipe from my grandmother's cookbook. Use at your own risk. Ingredients:
20 mini marshmallows |
1 cup grape juice |
2 tbsp orange juice |
4 tbsp lemon juice |
1 tbsp sugar (can use splend for diabetic) |
1/4 cup egg whites |
Directions:
1. Place marshmallows and grape juice in a double boiler and cook, stirring frequently until thoroughly melted. 2. Remove and add orange and lemon juices. 3. Cool. 4. Pour into refrigerator tray and chil until partly jellied. 5. Whip egg whites and sugar together. 6. Fold into the jellied grape mixture and mix very thoroughly. 7. Freeze til ready. 8. Enjoy! |
