-Adopted Recipe- Ingredients:
1 1/2 tablespoons quick-cooking tapioca |
3/4 cup raisins |
1 cup boiling water |
1/4 cup post grape-nuts cereal |
1/4 cup brown sugar |
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract |
Directions:
1. In a heavy saucepan, stir together tapioca, boiling water, brown sugar, raisins and cereal. Let stand for 5 minutes. 2. Over high heat, bring this mixture to a boil, stirring well to prevent sticking. Boil for 1 minute. 3. Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in vanilla. 4. Serve hot with cream. |
