This is something different to make in the summer. I had this at a wedding shower & loved it. I looked all over the internet & could only find one recipe. I decided to post it here for future reference. The recipe called for green grapes but I had it with purple & it was great. Ingredients:
4 lbs seedless green or purple grapes |
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese (softened) |
1 (8 ounce) package sour cream |
1/3 cup white sugar |
1 teaspoon vanilla, ext |
4 ounces chopped pecans or 4 ounces walnuts |
2 tablespoons brown sugar |
Directions:
1. Wash & dry grapes. In a large bowl mix together sour cream, cream cheese, vanilla & white sugar. Fold in grapes until evenly coated. Sprinkle with brown sugar & chopped nuts . Refrigerate for 15 minute - 3 hours (3 hours is better) Mix if desired & enjoy. |
