Granola With Maple-yogurt Syrup |

Found this in the local paper, just made it and it's yummy and addictive Ingredients:
5 cups old-fashioned rolled oats |
1 1/2 cups unsalted sunflower seeds |
1 cup oat bran or wheat |
1 cup coarsely chopped pecans |
1/ 2 cup sliced almonds |
3 tbsp. canola oil |
1/2 cup honey |
2/3 cup dried cranberries |
4 cups non-fat yogurt |
6 tbsp. maple syrup |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees 2. Combine oats, sunflower seeds, oat bran, almonds and drizzle with oil, toss well 3. In small saucepan, warm honey until liquified (3-5 minutes) than drizzle over oat mixture, toss again to coat evenly 4. Spread mixture evenly among two 11 X 17 baking sheets; bake in oven for 15 minutes 5. Remove pans, stir granola and spread out again 6. Lower temp. to 325 degrees 7. Bake for 15-20 more minutes, stirring twice, until evenly browned 8. Remove pans and let cool completely, add cranberries 9. Meanwhile, whisk together yogurt and maple syrup 10. Store granola in air-tight contained, keeps for 2 weeks 11. Store yogurt in separte container, add to granola when want to eat 12. Toss fresh berries on top |
