This delicious muesli has all the ingredients you'd need for a good homemade granola, but it's ever so much easier...no cooking, just stir it all together and leave it in the fridge overnight! It is thick, fruity, and filling - I usually make it once every week for an easy, wholesome breakfast. Even better with some fresh fruit on top :-) Cook time is chilling time. Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups quick oats |
1 1/2 cups low-fat milk |
1/4 cup orange juice, plus |
2 tablespoons orange juice |
1/2 cup raisins |
1/4 cup chopped dried apricot |
1/4 cup dried cranberries |
2 tablespoons sliced almonds |
2 tablespoons unsweetened coconut |
2 tablespoons honey |
1 tablespoon sunflower seeds |
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon |
1/8 teaspoon ground ginger |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in large bowl and stir to mix. 2. Cover and refrigerate 8 hours or overnight. |
