My recipe for healthy granola bars. One bar and water is a good snack or meal. Ingredients:
2 c. quick oats |
1 1/2 c. whole wheat flour |
1/2 c wheat germ |
salt |
1/4 c. sesame seeds |
1/2 c. raisens (or dried cranberries or chopped dates) |
1/2 c. walnuts chopped |
1/2 c. coconut |
1 tsp vanilla |
2 beaten eggs |
2/3 c melted butter |
2/3 c. liquid honey |
Directions:
1. Mix first eight ingredients together. 2. Add vanilla, eggs, butter and honey. 3. Stir until well mixed. 4. Pour into 9 x 13 greased pan 5. Bake 350 degrees for 30 min. 6. cut into 18 squares while warm |
