This is a terrific granola to eat with yogurt or milk for breakfast. Ingredients:
3 c rolled oats |
6 t brown sugar (you can use less or even leave this out) |
1 c cashews |
1 c almond slivers |
3/4 c coconut |
1/4 c virgin coconut oil |
6 t grade b maple syrup |
Directions:
1. Mix all dry ingredients together, then add coconut oil and maple syrup and stir well. 2. Spread out on large baking pan that has sides and bake at 250 degrees F for 1 hour and 15 minutes* stirring every 15 minutes. Cool and then add dried fruit - dates, cranberries, raisins, etc. (I like golden raisins and dried cherries). |
