This is a very old recipe which I enjoyed all the time growing up.It's healthy but it won't taste like your trying to cook healthy, the flavors are remarkable! If you have kids this is 1 granola recipe they will love.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup honey
1 cup butter or oil
1 tbsp milk
1 tsp sea salt
4 cups rolled oats
1 cup dried coconut
1/2 to 1 cup wheat germ
1 cup raisins
1 cup finely chopped nuts (walnuts, cashews or pecans)
1/2 cup sunflower seeds and sesame seeds (mixed)
Directions:
1. Combine honey,butter,milk and salt
2. Heat until honey is melted and butter and milk are blended in
3. Pour mixture over a bowl containing:
4. Oats, coconut, wheat germ, raisins,nuts, and sunflower/sesame seeds
5. Spread thinly on well-oiled cookie sheet.
6. Bake at 300 for 20 minutes.Turn over after 10 minutes.
7. Bake until light golden brown.
8. Serve with reg. milk or soy milk
