A delicious and healthy breakfast granola. Ingredients:
8 cups wheat flakes |
6 cups old fashioned oats |
2 cups wheat germ |
2 teaspoons salt |
1 1/4 cups brown sugar |
2 cups raisins |
2 cups pecans |
1 cup shredded coconut |
1/2 cup honey |
3 teaspoons vanilla |
1 cup oil |
1 cup hot water |
3 teaspoons cinnamon |
Directions:
1. Mix ingredients from wheat flakes to shredded coconut in a large bowl. 2. Mix the rest of the ingredients in a separate bowl until honey dissolves. 3. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir for exactly 5 minutes. 4. Spread on cookie sheet or jelly roll pan and cook at 225 for 1 1/2 hours stirring every 1/2 hour. |
