Granola can be eaten on top of fruit and yogurt, as cold cereal by adding milk or warm cereal by adding milk and heating in microwave for 1 minute, it can also be used as a snack when hiking. Ingredients:
6 cups old fashioned oats |
1/2 cup chopped pecans |
1/4 cup pumpkin seeds |
1 cup shredded coconut |
1 cup dried cranberries |
1/4 cup chopped almonds |
1/2 cup olive oil |
1/2 cup honey |
1 tablespoon cinnamon |
Directions:
1. Pre-heat oven to 325 and combine all ingredients, except the dried fruit, into a large bowl and mix thoroughly. Pour onto baking sheet and bake in the oven pulling it out and stirring every fifteen minutes. Cook until toasted to your likeness (between 45 to 60 minutes. |
