Soft all the way through. You can make BIG cookies with this dough! Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter |
1 cup sugar |
1 egg |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
2 teaspoons baking powder |
2 cups flour, sifted |
1/2 teaspoon vanilla |
Directions:
1. Cream together butter and sugar. 2. Blend in egg. 3. Sift together salt, baking powder, and flour. 4. Add to mixture. 5. Blend vanilla into mixture. 6. Chill dough. 7. Roll dough to thickness desired, and cut out shapes with a cookie cutter. 8. Bake on lightly greased cookie sheet in 400°F preheated oven for 8-10 minutes. |
