This recipe has been used for four generations by my family. Never fails. Ingredients:
5 eggs, large |
1 1/2 cups white sugar |
1/4 cup butter, melted |
1 1/2 cups pecans, chopped |
1 cup white karo |
1 cup dark karo syrup |
1 dash salt |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1 teaspoon cornmeal |
1 -9 inch deep dish pie shell, unbaked |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients and mix well. 2. Pour into pie shell. 3. Bake 300 degrees for 1 hour. |
