Beef Meatballs with Basil Tomato Sauce Ingredients:
1/2 lb ground pork |
1/2 lb ground beef |
1/4 lb veal |
1 egg |
1/4 cup ricotta cheese |
2 sauteed garlic cloves |
salt and pepper |
1 cup extra virgin olive oil |
1/4 cup italian seasoned breadcrumbs |
Directions:
1. Combine all the ingredients except the olive oil and garlic in a bowl. Add the olive oil and garlic in a small sauce pan and heat. Roll the ingredient mixture into 1 to 2 inch balls, place them in a large frying pan and cook until browned. Remove from heat and set aside. 2. Heat your favorite Spagehetti sauce in a separate saucepan. Bring to boil. Reduce heat. Slowly stir in meatballs and simmer until heated throughout. Serve over noodles. |
