Grannys Lemon Pie

This sounds like it would be a good pie to me.
Ingredients:
2 c. sugar
1/4 lb. butter
juice of 2 lemons
4 eggs
pinch of salt
Directions:
1. Melt butter and cream into the sugar.
2. Break one whole egg into this and stir, continue adding each additional egg one at a time stirring until all of the 4 eggs are used.
3. Add lemon juice, stir enough to mix but do not beat.
4. Pour into an unbaked pie shell.
5. Bake at 325 degrees for one hour or until the pie is set and brown.
6. Watch pie and reduce heat as it must not bubble or boil.
