Granny's Bread Pudding

This dessert, which will puff up like a souffle but will fall in a few minutes, can be served warm or refrigerated and served cold.
Ingredients:
3 eggs
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 cups half-and-half cream
7 slices honey wheat bread
1 small amount butter
1 dash cinnamon
Directions:
1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, sugar and vanilla.
2. Add half & half, whisk vigorously until foamy.
3. Tear apart bread slices and soak briefly until moist.
4. Grease six ramekins (about 3-1/4 inches in diameter) with a little butter.
5. Ladle mixture to the top of each ramekin.
6. Place ramekins in a large ovenproof glass baking dish with a half-inch of water.
7. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
