Grannys Blueberry Scones

best when fresh out of the oven.
Ingredients:
2 cups flour
1 t baking powder
1/4 t salt
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
2 cups bluberries (do not thaw)
1 egg
3/4 cup fresh whole milk
1/2 cup butter
Directions:
1. In large bowl, mix or sift together all dry ingredients
2. Add frozen berries, stir into dry ingredients.
3. In small bowl, beat egg and milk.
4. Add melted butter and egg/milk to dry ingredients, mix with hand, working quickly and gently
5. You want dough to be slightly moist, not gummy, so you may need to add a little milk
6. Divide dough in half and shape shape each half into a six inch round on a floured surface
7. cut each half into 6 wedges.
8. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for about 20 minutes at 375 degrees.
9. Then Enjoy!
