This is a great soup to fill ya up. Got it from my bro-in-law whose grandfather regularly fixed this for him. Ingredients:
1 block of homemade chili (u get this from the local grocer/butcher) |
1 -2 cans whole kernel corn, drained |
1 large can tomato juice |
chili powder, to taste |
2 cups water |
noodles, cooked...as much as u want |
Directions:
1. In large pot, thaw the chili in the 2 cups water, stirring to break it up. 2. Add remaining ingredients, stirring to mix. Simmer for an hour or so. 3. Serve with crackers and shredded cheese. |
