For as long as I can remember, my Grandpa Dennis made this recipe for any get together, special occasion or potluck. Now, we make it to take to potlucks and there is NEVER any left. It's quick and easy, simmer a few hours and it's ready to go. Love this!!!!! Ingredients:
1 cup whiskey |
1 cup ketchup |
1 cup brown sugar |
2 lbs hot dogs, cut in 1-inch pieces |
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients and simmer for 1-2 hours.
2. Sauce will thicken with cooking.
3. Serve warm in crockpot with toothpicks!
