Grandmother Jennies Cornbread |

This is the recipe my grandmother used for her oh so good cornbread. It was a staple on their table for lunch and dinner. Ingredients:
1/2 c. flour |
3/4 c. cornmeal |
1/2 or 1/4 tsp soda |
1/2 tsp baking powder |
1/2 tsp salt |
buttermilk |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven at 425 and a round iron 9 pan 2. Mix all ingredients together until good and moist with the butter milk. 3. Pour into the hot pan and bake until golden brown. About 20 min. |
