1 cup sugar |
3/4 cup butter |
1/2 cup evaporated milk |
3/4 cup brown sugar |
1/4 cup flour |
1 cup pecan halves |
5 -6 large yams |
Directions:
1. preheat oven to 350. 2. cut yams into quarters and boil until fork slides out very easily. Drain and peel skins off. 3. With a mixer, combine yams with sugar, 1/2 stick butter, and evaporated milk until there are no lumps. 4. in seperate bowl, combine brown sugar, stick of melted butter, flour and pecan halves. 5. spread yams in a pan and pour pecan mixture over top. swirl through with a knife. 6. bake 45 minutes. |
