This is my huband's grandma's own stroganoff recipe. It's been passed down two generations to me and it's an easy and pleasing recipe that everyone I've made it for has loved. Ingredients:
3 lbs cubed round steaks |
1 -1 1/2 lb egg noodles (or rice) |
2 (10 3/4 ounce) cans mushroom soup |
1 cup fresh mushrooms, sliced |
1.5 (1 1/3 ounce) envelopes onion soup mix |
3/4 cup water |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degree. 2. Brown the cubed meat. 3. Mix rest of ingredients together with it in an oven safe pan. 4. Place in oven for 1 1/2 hours. 5. After 1 hour taste juice. If you add more water you may want to add a little more onion soup. 6. Serve over rice or egg noodles. |
