Grandmas Salmon Pie /With Egg Sauce |

easy and flavorful cant use alot of spices but love same food as everyone else and this has become popular with my family Ingredients:
1 (15 ounce) can red salmon |
3 boiled potatoes |
1 onion |
2 pie crusts |
4 hard-boiled eggs |
1/2 cup butter |
1/2 cup flour |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon pepper |
3 cups milk |
Directions:
1. 1.-clean salmon and flake in bowl 2. 2.-add boiled potatoes and onions and mix 3. 3.-add enough reservered juice to make filling smooth but 4. not runny. 5. 4-put in prepared crust and bake at 350 for 35 minute. 6. in the meantime boil your eggs and let them cool. 7. to make whie sauce:. 8. 1-melt butter. 9. 2- add flour and sal and pepper til it makes a paste. 10. 3-add milk and stir til it thickens- 11. 4-remove from heat and add eggs to serve over pie. |
