My grandma made this for us every time we came to visit. She knew we loved it and we never tired of it's wonderful rich flavor. Ingredients:
1 cup long grained rice |
1 can beef consumme', 10.5 oz. |
1 envelope dry french onion soup |
1 small can drained mushroom slices, or you can use a larger can, if you like more mushrooms. |
1 stick margarine or butter (i like butter best) |
Directions:
1. Spray1 qt. casserole dish with non-stick spray 2. Combine rice, consumme', dry onion soup and drained sliced mushrooms in dish. 3. Add butter or margarine, cut into pieces. Bake, covered, at 350 degrees. Stir about 15 minutes before done, recover and finish baking. |
