One of many treasured recipes I found in my Grandma's recipe box. It's easy to make and tickles the taste buds. Ingredients:
1 cup sugar |
3/4 cup flour, divided |
3/4 teaspoon cinnamon |
4 cups chopped rhubarb (fresh or frozen) |
3/4 cup packed brown sugar |
1/2 teaspoon baking powder |
1/2 teaspoon baking soda |
1/3 cup margarine, melted |
Directions:
1. In bowl combine sugar, 1 T flour and cinnamon. 2. Add rhubarb; toss. 3. Place in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. 4. In bowl combine brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and remaining flour; stir in butter. 5. Sprinkle over rhubarb. 6. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 40 minutes or until rhubarb is tender. |
