This recipe was given to me by my mother-in-law when I married her son, she received it from her mother-in-law when she married - it has been passed down to my daughter. Excellent flavor. Ingredients:
1 cup pumpkin |
3/4 cup sugar |
1 cup evaporated milk |
2 tablespoons flour |
1 pinch salt |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
1/8 teaspoon clove |
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg |
1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell |
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients together well. 2. Pour into pie shell. 3. Bake in preheated 450°F oven for 10 minutes. 4. Reduce heat to 350°F and bake an additional 30 to 45 minutes, until knife inserted in center comes out clean. 5. Enjoy:). |
