Grandma's Coleslaw

A vinegar based coleslaw.
Ingredients:
1/2 head cabbage, grated
1/2 cup finely chopped green pepper
1/2 cup finely chopped celery
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
1/2 cup finely shredded carrot
1/2 cup vinegar
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon celery seed
1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds
Directions:
1. Prepare vegetables as directed.
2. Combine in medium bowl.
3. Set aside.
4. In a small saucepan, combine vinegar, sugar and salt.
5. Simmer until sugar is dissolved.
6. Add celery seed and mustard seed.
7. Cool.
8. Pour vinegar mixture over vegetables.
9. Stir until well coated.
10. Chill and serve.
