A wonderfully rich, moist and chocolately brownie. Really easy to make, even easier to eat! Ingredients:
1 cup cocoa |
3/4 teaspoon baking soda |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
2 teaspoons instant coffee |
1/2 cup boiling water |
1 cup melted butter |
2 1/4 cups sugar |
3 eggs, at room temperature |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1 1/2 cups flour |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees celcius. 2. Lightly flour and butter a baking pan. 3. Sift cocoa, baking soda and salt. 4. Dissolve coffee in boiling water. 5. Whisk with half the butter into the cocoa until smooth. 6. Whisk in sugar and remaining butter until smooth. 7. Whisk in eggs one at a time. 8. Blend in the vanilla. 9. Stir in the flour until just blended. 10. Spread evenly into the baking pan and bake for 30 - 35 minutes. |
