Grandma's Caramel Frosting |

Wonderful when used on a yellow cake but I'm sure chocolate would be great as well! Ingredients:
2 cups light brown sugar |
6 tablespoons milk |
1/2 cup margarine |
1/2 teaspoon baking powder |
1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
Directions:
1. Combine brown sugar, milk, and butter; bring to a full boil and cook for exactly 2 minutes. Remove from heat; add baking powder and vanilla. Beat until thick enough to spread. |
