These are so good. Sometimes I think I'm eating apple pie when I taste them. It's a simple recipe, but when you eat them they taste like the best you could ever buy. They are dipped after baking-that gives them an almost streusel like topping. So good. Ingredients:
1 3/4 cups flour |
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg |
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon |
1 egg |
1/3 cup oil |
3/4 cup sugar |
3/4 cup milk |
1/2 cup oleo, melted |
1/2 cup sugar |
2 teaspoons cinnamon |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F. 2. Spray muffin tins. 3. In a large bowl mix first 9 ingredients; fill muffin tins 1/2 full. 4. Bake 30 minutes and remove from pan. 5. In one small dish melt oleo. 6. In a small dish, mix the 1/2 cup sugar and 2 teaspoons cinnamon. 7. Dip each muffin in the oleo then the sugar. 8. Ummm good. |
