Grandmaman's Baked Apples |

This is one of DH's mother's recipes. I've added cinnamon to the recipe after 2 reviewers suggested it. Ingredients:
1 egg, beaten |
1/2 cup brown sugar |
1/2 cup white sugar |
1/2 cup flour |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
salt |
2 apples, peeled and thinly sliced |
cinnamon |
chopped nuts, to taste (optional) |
Directions:
1. Stir first 6 ingredients together in the order listed (if using chopped nuts, add with the salt). 2. Add apples and mix. 3. Sprinkle with cinnamon. 4. Place mixture into a liberally greased pie plate. 5. Bake at 350 F for 25 to 30 minutes. |
